In addition to the State office closure on Wednesday, 1/22, State offices are also closed on Thursday, 1/23, therefore all SSD offices will be closed Wednesday and Thursday. We will continue to provide updates as they become available. Stay safe!

LSDVI will be closed on Monday, 1/20, for the MLK Holiday and will be closed on Tuesday, 1/21, due to the predicted winter weather. The situation is being monitored closely and will be reevaluated on Tuesday. The decision has been made that residential students will not come to campus next week but will participate in virtual learning when school reopens.

Support our cheerleading team and join the excitement! 🎉 We’re hosting a 50/50 raffle during the Mason Dixon tournament from Jan 22-25—half the pot goes to one lucky winner, and the other half supports our athletes! 💚🤍🦅
Don’t miss your chance to win BIG and make a difference! Thank you for your support!

🌟 Every student shines in their own way! ✨ Many of our new deaf and hard of hearing students face learning gaps, but we believe in their potential! 💪 Let’s nurture their journey together.

School starts back next Tuesday for our War Eagles! Dorm students will be bussed to campus on Monday, and school begins again on Tuesday for everyone. With temperatures dropping over the next few weeks, please be sure your students are wearing dress-code approved layers to stay warm. If you are in need of any items, please contact the office to let them know.

Can you tell we miss our students? 💚 Check out some of these photos of them in action before the winter break! We had PBIS events around campus, club time (where you see the STEM club at work), and a high school virtual visit with Gallaudet University admissions! 💻 📚
