The Louisiana School for the Deaf (LSD) Foundation is once again hosting the Dash for Deaf Kids 5K Race and Fun Run, a local community non-profit agency. We invite you to be a corporate sponsor of our 19th Annual Dash for Deaf Kids, which will be held on Saturday, April 15th, 2023, at 8:00 a.m. on our campus 2888 Brightside Lane, Baton Rouge, La 70820.
The LSD Foundation is organizing this event to provide a greater awareness of the work of the school and the deaf culture, as well as to raise funds for the students. The Foundation’s mission is to improve the quality of life for LSD students by generating financial support to advance educational and enrichment opportunities. These programs and services make it possible for deaf children from preschool to the 12th grade to eventually function as self-supporting, well rounded and contributing members of society.
We realize that there are many worthwhile programs in our community that are in need of funding; however, we hope you will join the LSD Foundation in making a positive impact on the lives of our deaf children.
