LSD Outreach Vision

Services for professionals: expert team for consultations, community partnerships, professional development, instructional support, immersion workshops. Certifications: Deaf education certification collaboration, interpreter training & mentoring, EIPA testing site, training site for Deaf-related services.

It is the vision of the LSD Outreach department to provide comprehensive, high-quality services for Deaf, DeafBlind, DeafDisabled, and hard of hearing children throughout the state. In addition, the Department also services their families and educational service providers (such as teachers of the Deaf, interpreters, speech-language pathologists, etc.). The Department aims to provide support through a variety of avenues to maximize educational and socioemotional outcomes for the children we serve.
